Dr. James D. RaymondEdina, MN DentistSouthdale Dental AssociatesDr. Raymond has been a partner at Southdale Dental Associates since 1973. A Twin Cities native, he graduated from Richfield High School and received his BS and DDS from the University of Minnesota. He served two years in the U.S. Army Dental Corps., including one year in Vietnam. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, the Minneapolis District Dental Society, and several study clubs. He has also received training in Comprehensive Restorative Dentistry at the renowned Pankey Institute of Florida along with the Scottsdale Center for Continuing Dental Education. Dr. Raymond and his wife Sue have three grown sons and three grandchildren. In his free time, he is active with his church, enjoys golf, travel, music, and family time at a lake home at Sullivan Lake in Central Minnesota. |

Dr. Thomas P. TelanderEdina, MN DentistSouthdale Dental Associates
Dr. Telander has been with Southdale Dental Associates for the last two decades. He received his undergraduate degree from St. Olaf College and his dental training from the University of Minnesota. He also completed a General Practice Residency in Hospital Dentistry at the respected University of Illinois Hospital in Chicago. Since then, he has continued studying at the Misch Institute for Implant Dentistry, the Pankey Institute for Restorative Dentistry, and the Seattle Study Club for Complex Restorative and Implant Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, and the Minneapolis District Dental Society. He and his wife Sue have four children ranging in age from fourteen to twenty-three. In his free time, he is active with his church, coaching youth sports, and enjoys cross-country skiing, biking, fishing, and camping. |

Dr. Mark W. BettesEdina, MN DentistSouthdale Dental AssociatesDr. Bettes has been with Southdale Dental for the past decade. He did his undergraduate studies at St. Olaf College and graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He has completed a MS in Prosthodontics at the University of Minnesota. As a member of the American College of Prosthodontics, Dr. Bettes continues to take courses with an emphasis on prosthodontics. He and his wife, Diane, have three children. He enjoys spending time with his family, outdoor activities, and camping. |

Dr. James M. HealyEdina, MN DentistSouthdale Dental AssociatesDr. Healy grew up in Marshall, MN. He received his undergraduate degree in biology from St. John's University and went to dental school at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Healy practiced in Maple Grove before joining Southdale Dental Associates and has continued to study implants, as well as advances in restorative materials and techniques. Dr. Healy also has attended the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, and he is a member of the American Dental Association and the Minnesota Dental Association. Dr. Healy's hobbies include golf, fishing, biking, and playing basketball. He and his wife, Jessica, welcomed their first child in July ‘09. |

Dr. Alan D. MjolsnesEdina, MN DentistSouthdale Dental AssociatesDr. Mjolsnes grew up in Detroit, MI and Minneapolis, MN. He attended Edina High School and received his undergraduate and dental degrees from the University of Minnesota. He started his dental practice in Edina in 1969 and practiced there for 41 years before joining Southdale Dental Associates. Dr. Mjolsnes is a member of the American Dental Association and the Minnesota Dental Association. |
