Your First Visit

During the first visit our Edina dental office we will discuss your past medical and dental history, concerns and treatment expectations. In order to make a thorough and accurate diagnosis of any dental problems your dentist may request digital X-rays in the form of a full mouth series, bitewings, and /or a pantograph. The comprehensive exam will include looking for caries (decay), an evaluation of existing restorations, oral cancer screening, periodontal (gum) disease, excessive tooth wear, and occlusal (bite) problems. 

We believe the best approach to oral health is a cooperative venture between the patient and the dentist, which is dependent on two factors. 1) the skill and judgment of the dentist and 2) the commitment and cooperation of the patient. Drs. Raymond, Rene, Telander, Bettes, and Mehta have consistently sought advanced training and continuing education in relation to complex restorative dentistry in order to provide patients with appropriate treatment choices and clinical techniques.

We will strive to build understanding and trust through open communication about your oral condition. Then we will explain our findings, concerns, and recommendations to help determine the most appropriate course of treatment. Our goal is to aid in making informed decisions.

We are located on the top floor in Suite 600 at the Centennial Lakes Medical Center on France Ave S. and Parklawn.
